Two of Metropolitan New Orleans’ creative stars announce their joint venture to provide gastronomical excellence for patrons of the Arts. Rivertown Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce that they have secured the catering services of Pigéon Caterers of New Orleans as the official caterer for the 2009-2010 Theatrical Season.

Pigéon Caterers is owned and operated by brothers Jean-Pierre and Dean Pigéon. Having served such clients as the New Orleans Saints, Ann Rice, Blaine Kern Studios, CBS News, President Bush, President Clinton, New Orleans Paddlewheels and many more, Pigéon Caterers has a proven track record to provide the perfect creativity and eye for detail that ensures gastronomic eminence for different customers. Pigéon Caterers is a family owned full service catering company, that has successfully operated throughout the Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes for more than a decade. Three years ago, Pigeon Caterers joined creative forces with The New Orleans Board of Trade, to create a truly unique venue in the heart of downtown New Orleans. St. Charles Avenue Magazine recently named Pigeon Caterers, Inc. the #1 caterer in New Orleans, and Pigeon Caterers is also the food service provider for the New Orleans Saints.

Rivertown Repertory Theatre, with years of honors bestowed for their theatrical success, calls the venture “star-crossed”, as they look forward to reaching new and creative heights in the culinary area of their service. “Aside from our pre-performance dinners offered to our patrons, we have often entertained getting creative with performances that lend themselves to certain cuisine. Mad Hatter High Teas, for example, for Alice and Wonderland, or a Holiday Banquet for our December Holiday musical complete with a life-size Gingerbread House covered with candy, come to mind. The sky is the limit with this caterer,” said Charles Ward, Executive Director for Rivertown Repertory Theatre. “We look forward to announcing the first menu for Camelot shortly, as well as other creative ideas that will make the experience at Rivertown an event you will savor.
